- for the first time on the basis of a registration alphabetic - help card file of foreign internees the researcher analyzed numerical, national and social composition of the prisoners of war containing in imprisonment in Central Kazakhstan;

- the researcher investigated separate destinies of the former prisoners of war in camps of Central Kazakhstan.

The practical material and theoretical conclusions of research, position and recommendations can be used at manuals drawing up, in lectures on native history preparation, special courses on problems of military captivity in the USSR.

Materials of the dissertation can serve for expositions of museums in history of penal system in Kazakhstan, preparations of excursion routes in places of burial places of prisoners of war of The Second World and Great Patriotic Wars and etc.

Besides these, the results of dissertational research can be used by students - historians, undergraduate students, post-graduate students, scientists, who are investigating the given chronological period and describing the system of camps of People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs or Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in the works, the researchers who are engaged in history of foreign prisoners of war and internees in Kazakhstan, and also the representatives of foreign countries who are interested in destinies of the compatriots on the territory of Central Kazakhstan, taking place in 1940 - the beginning of 1950-es of the XXth century.

Dissertational research is consisted of a list of abbreviations, an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, a list of the used sources and appendices.

In the first chapter the researcher analyzed the normative-legal (documentary) base of camps formation for prisoners of war and internees and shown the place of the given camps in system of corrective-labor camps of People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs or Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.

In the second chapter the researcher conserved the position of prisoners of war and internees in Kazakhstan camps. There were a mode of their maintenance, protection, health services, nutrition, industrial activity, ideological re-education and etc.

The third chapter is devoted to questions of repatriation of prisoners of war and internees to home. There are examined historical destinies of former prisoners and analyzed the reasons of death rate among prisoners of war and internees and also resulted places of their burial places in Central Kazakhstan.

Conclusions, generalizations and recommendations on the further development of a theme are given in the conclusion.

The complex of documents and materials which was entered for the first time in a scientific revolution is included in the appendix.
