The monograph explores the newly emerging perspectives on medical use of antagonists acting at NMDA-subtypes of glutamate receptors. Comparative analysis of site-selective NMDA receptor antagonists is substantiated by the specific information on organization and functional characteristics of NMDA receptor complex.
